Oceanaire portable water-cooled units are outstanding units for food preparation kitchens. As pictured on the left, this installation was an ideal portable water-cooled rental hookup; A mop sink close to the unit with adequate water flow, great water pressure, and a good drain. Very seldom do we have a hookup with such a short water-in, water-out and drain hose from the cooling rental unit to the water source, but this one did. Usually, the customer needs the cooling unit location far away from the water source/drain. Often, 25-to-50-foot, 12-gauge extension cords are needed to get dedicated 115V power to the plug-in-the-wall portable unit AC’s. Depicted on the right is a portable water-cooled rental unit with a longer run of braided high-pressure hose and extension cord, which is nicely tie wrapped to the wall and off the floor.
