Located in Huntley, IL a fine custom cabinet maker needed emergency portable cooling for their fabrication shop. Due to the layout and size of the shop, we proposed an Oceanaire OWC3612 mobile unit to aid in the comfort of the employees. The 3-ton portable water-cooled unit is ideal for situations where there is no access to the outdoors via windows or penetrations. When using an Oceanaire water-cooled unit, one will never have to worry about drawing a negative pressure as with air-cooled portable models. Since water cooled units require less power, it is easier to find adequate power for water coolers. Sometimes water-cooled portable units are confused with Evaporative coolers which add moisture to the air. Our portables Air Conditioners “do not” add any moisture to the air, they remove moisture.
