A doctor’s office located in Morton Grove, IL needed several Oceanaire water-cooled portable AC units. The cooling coil on the central AC system was damaged and the lead time for the new coil was several weeks out so they phoned Porta-Air. After reviewing the medical office layout prior to installation, it made the most sense to locate several 1.5-ton, 110 V, water-cooled portables in strategic locations without disrupting employee and customer mobility. After 7-PWC1811 were installed, the air handler, which was still operational, was used to evenly distribute the cool air from the portable water-cooled air conditioning units throughout the 7500 sq. ft. facility.
