A mechanical contractor requested a couple of portable rental units for their customer's server room prior to the changeout of their old air conditioning unit with a new AC system. Since the area above the drop ceiling was open to warehouse space, the hookup for discharging the hot air from the Movincool Climate Pro K18's was straightforward. When installing self-contained portable rentals, one consideration is finding dedicated wall outlets for each unit to avoid tripping breakers. In this installation, the units were cycled several times while engaging the compressor to make sure both AC portables were not on the same circuit.
