A unique application involved installing Oceanaire portable water-cooled rental units in a Roller Hockey Arena located in Cook County, IL. When the 20-ton unit went down, the customer was in a bind and only had a certain budget to work with. After evaluating all the options, the only units that made sense, within their budget, were 460V, 3 phase water-cooled 5-ton rental units. Electrical was pretty straightforward while the water to and from the water-cooled units was more challenging. For such a compact air conditioning unit, these babies provided quite a relief to the teams playing hockey. The customer ended up renting the equipment for the entire summer and praised our work and the performance of the OWC6043 water-cooled units.
