Retail Store Portable Spot Coolers Installation in Skokie, IL

Old Orchard Westfield shopping center in Skokie, IL required temporary spot cooler rentals for their retail store. The main cooling system was not operating properly, and the store was not cooling down to the mandated levels of this high-end clothing store. The installation was not easy since all the millwork in the store was tightly sealed with no open areas to run water hoses and electrical wiring to the backroom where the mop sink and electrical boxes were located. The store had very tall 10-foot-high entrance doors which let in quite a bit of hot air every time a customer opened the door. Opening and closing of the entry doors did not help the retail store's cooling issue. Since smaller water-cooled units were the only Oceanaire feasible cooling rental option, cable ramps and extra-long water hoses were needed to position the units where cooling was needed. A super wye, with six water ports was needed to distribute the water to 5 separate portable air conditioners. An extra wye port was available for the janitor to fill his mop bucket for after hour cleaning.
